Disability Pride Month may be coming to a close, but disability pride, visibility, and advocacy are not limited to one month. 🌈

At PAPA, we recognize disability as a natural and valuable part of human diversity. As a community connected by rehabilitation medicine, we celebrate disabled people in all their identities, experiences, achievements, leadership, creativity, and contributions.

Disability pride also calls us to look beyond diagnoses and limitations, listen to lived experiences, respect every person’s autonomy, and help create healthcare systems and communities where accessibility, inclusion, dignity, and belonging are never treated as afterthoughts.

Let us continue to:

✨ Listen to and amplify disabled voices
✨ Challenge ableism and harmful stereotypes
✨ Support equitable, accessible, and person-centered care

✨ We’re opening more PAPA PM&R Application Bootcamp dates!

The response to our first Bootcamp exceeded our expectations—thank you so much! 💙

Because of the overwhelming interest, we’re opening additional sessions so more applicants can join. One new session is already planned, and if interest continues, we’ll open another.
